EastBanc specializes in the acquisition, development and management of prime real estate assets. With a focus on urban, mixed-use investments, its developments include upscale retail, luxury residential, Class A office and luxury hotel property types. The company has earned a reputation for revitalizing Georgetown's retail market and for producing luxury condominium housing. Furthermore, EastBanc is known for producing properties which enhance the community and provide the users with striking architecture and interiors while preserving, where applicable, the historic nature of the neighborhood.
EastBanc, together with its partners, has become the most prolific investor in Georgetown, having redeveloped over 30 historic retail properties which have been leased to tenants such as Ralph Lauren, Baker Furniture, Waterworks, Lacoste and BCBG/Max Azria. Additionally, EastBanc has been a leader in bringing luxury living to Washington DC, having co-developed both of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences projects and most recently having developed 3303 Water Street.
Some of the companys most recent projects include:
3303 Water Street, a 150,000 sq ft 70-unit luxury residential condominium project in Georgetown along the Potomac River and C&O Canal. This project won the Delta Associates Award for Best Overall Mid-Atlantic Condominium Project: 2004" and the National Association of Home Builders 2007 Pillars of the Industry Award for "Best Mid-Rise Condominium Community".
Cadys Alley, a 120,000 sq ft retail and residential historic redevelopment in the heart of Georgetown that features the nations most exclusive home furnishing and accessories retailers. This project won a prestigious 2005 AIA Honor Award for Urban Design.
1875 Pennsylvania Avenue, a 288,000 sq ft office project released to Wilmer Hale for its headquarters. This project was awarded a 2006 Merit Award in Architecture by the Washington D.C. chapter of the American Institue of Architects.
